This one file is always local SQLite — necessarily, not by policy — because it's what tells this instance which database everything else actually runs on.
LoginLink__Storage__Sqlite__DataRootPath and restart — it can't be changed from this page without a restart, so this is guidance, not a form field. Required, not optional, on Plesk/IIS/shared hosting: point it somewhere outside your deployed site folder so a routine publish can never overwrite it.
For when you have shell access to this box but no way to place a file inside it — a Plesk/IIS file manager, a PaaS with no volume mounts. Replaces the auto-created file at the path above after validating it's a real LoginLink bootstrap.db (SQLite header, expected tables) — anything else is rejected, not silently accepted.
